Especially those that return from space and land upright.....

Space X Falcon 9 just landed its rocket at Cape Canaveral Florida.

SpaceX successfully landed its Falcon 9 rocket after launching it to space

"Both accomplishments suggest the shape of things to come, says Charles Miller, president of NexGenSpace, a spaceflight consulting firm. "I think it’s very clear the future is reusable space, and the rest of the world is playing catch up to the innovation that’s taking place in America’s space entrepreneurs," said Miller."

Pretty huge step in cutting the cost of going to space. IMO.

Think about this for a second. While other countries and governments try to launch rockets big enough to carry a warhead the private company Space X can launch into outer space and return its own rocket to be used again.

Go ahead. I'll catch up.

Cost per launch drops from $16 mil. for the rocket to $200K for the fuel. Compare this to $450 mil. per shuttle launch. Even with any necessary repairs, that's HUGE savings. Could be a lot of people who can afford a $200K launch to get their people/products into orbit.

It's amazing how NASA spent billions and couldn't do what these entrepreneurs now can.

Sensor technology has come a long way within the last decade.
