Anyone have a scrap guy/company

We are looking for a scrap guy/company to take scrap materials away from work. We don't have the means to do it ourselves, so we usually contract with someone to take it away for us.

Anyone have someone or a company they know or use?

Looking for maybe some actual experience with said guy/company....I could just pick a name out of a hat no problem, but would rather have at least a little background knowledge

Where are you located? We use The Crusher in West Chicago. They drop a dumpster off, we fill it, they swap it out when it gets full. Seems to work just fine.

We're located in Glenview...generally we'll bring everything to our loading dock, and then whoever is taking the stuff would take it off the dock and load it into their dumpster or truck or whatever.

Problem is we usually don't have enough scrap flow to necessitate a dumpster at all times. So it's more of a, we need someone to come take stuff when we are generating scrap...and that could be every couple months, or for 2 months straight

It's so random...old steel furniture would be the biggest, batteries, the occasional electrical wiring and phone/network wiring
