You don't unless the reservoirs are re-built and re-stocked with water.
They are all man made reservoirs anyways, eventually nature will correct it and dry it up again. They were never meant to handle the 40 million people California has.

Yep. Its too bad the 'insert choice word(s)' politicians control that state, and pushed back constructing more desalination plants that would pump more fresh water into the supply than they know what to do with.
70% of the earth's water is an arm's reach away, but those desalination plants need energy and are the devil for the environment!!! But honestly nobody gives a fuck about basic survival needs when its 73 everyday. Water is just brainlessly there or available in a convenient plastic bottle filled by Billy Bob's kitchen faucet bottled water company

I was just in Cali last weekend flying from Sacramento to San Diego. Yup - them lakes are all half empty. Flew right over Mike K's house too...
Well, the view is SLIGHTLY west of his pad as I understand it. I think I heard him mention Laurel Canyon road. The lake in the pic is Encino which is slightly west of there, so yeah, my plane was right over his house.
