Ok then.

Turn 10 Studios and Universal Pictures have teamed up to create a standalone expansion to Forza Horizon 2, called Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious. It will be developed by Forza Horizon 2 studio Playground Games.

The expansion, which doesn't require you to own Forza Horizon 2, is coming to Xbox One and Xbox 360 on March 27. To promote the April 3 release of Furious 7, it will be free to download until April 10. Following that date, the price will be set at $10 USD.

The Fast & Furious-themed expansion is set before Furious 7. You'll control a driver in France who sources vehicles for Tej Parker. Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, who plays Parker in the films, will also portray the mechanic in the game.

Several vehicles from Furious 7 will be included, such as the 1998 Toyota Supra, 1970 Plymouth Road Runner, 2012 Nissan GT-R, 1970 Plymouth Cuda, 2013 Jeep Wrangler, 2014 Maserati Ghibli S and 2015 Dodge Charger. The 1970 Dodge Charger R/T, driven in the films by Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel), will also make an appearance.

According to Bill Kispert, executive vice president of digital licensing at Universal, the film studio has been talking with Turn 10 "for a number of years, and have always wanted to work together."

Turn 10 Studio Manager Alan Hartman says the studio wasn't interested in making "yet another" movie-based game, but realized the partnership with Universal was about "bringing both [Forza and Fast & Furious'] strengths to the table."

Hartman added: "I hope what we're doing here is a model for what we do in the future. It's been a great relationship, and I don't want to end it after this, so we'll see what's possible in the future."
