I'm a bit bothered by the complete overuse of CGI. I mean in a 1080p rip, its blatantly obvious how much green screen is being used. Was this look on purpose?

I mean everything just looks fake

48 fps vs the nornal 24. The first one was the same way.

Movie was just alright. Legolas was cool as a hardass. Smaug was great but the rest of the characters were easily forgettable. The Elf King was a terrible actor.

And I dont care if it was deliberate or not, but the whoring of CGI and green screens ruined it for me.

Fellowship and Two Towers > Journey and Smaug.

Hoping 3 brings it all together.

4/10. The review makes a lot of valid points. I'm still definitely in to see it but I'll be curious how much I agree with and how much I dont.
