Has anyone heard these before? First time I heard it was last week. Scared the hell out of me. Thought we were being bombed or something. Apparently the new Aurora Police Explorers have them.

They are loud and vibrate the ground.

That or straight pipes. I had a guy on the road with an iroc camaro that was running straight pipes. I had my window down and the guy got the car right next to me and floored it. It was voilent .

There's plenty of fire apparatus and ambulances with loud air horns....People still ignore them. Especially in the hood.

If it's anything like our sirens with the windows up and where they are mounted you don't hear much at all. I believe they are directional so I'm now sure if you feel anything inside either.
