It's comparable to different sub-forums on this site. If you go to /r/Subaru, it only shows posts that were posted in there(regarding Subarus obviously). If you subscribe to that subreddit, those posts will start showing up on your main page as well.

It's actually pretty easy once you get used to it... Lots of cool subforums on there too. Just stay away from all the hipster asshole posts/subreddits such as /r/politics(Obamas biggest nuthuggers...They gang up on you if you have a differing opinion, etc)

My buddy was a runner-up for some little contest Bill Murray does. If you're chosen, he shows up at your house, parties with you and your friends all night, and then sleeps on the couch and cooks you breakfast in the morning...Some guy from the north side won though.

Apparently Bill did this because he wanted to travel the country, but didn't want to pay for hotels.
