lol... phone software crashed and it shutdown midflight (rather than going into auto-landing mode) and crashed into the frozen tundra behind my house. T'was a sad day.

There's a second version of the phantom out that has a built in camera (with gimbal control). It also has built in telemetry it sends back to the screen so you can get altitude, battery life, etc.... Plus the runtime has increased to almost double. Of course the price almost doubled as well.


I haven't had mine out for a bit, I had a pretty hard crash and it took out one of my props. I think I'm gonna upgrade to carbon fiber for extra rigidity.
