Lisa Madigan NOT running for Governor!

Can you imagine the shenanigans that will be had if Madigan gets re-elected with a Republican Governor.
Oh my god. The butt fuckery she would receive(not like she receives it anyway) would be astronomical.

No one could tell you who Obama was until he was up for president. Little Lisa comes from a political family running Chicago for years.

Who would have thought a rookie Senator named Obama would win the office? He had a lot less clout than Madigan does. She would get the Democratic party's solid support because of her history and father. She's a woman and will get votes because of that. She's an AG and will get votes for being a crime fighter. A couple good terms as governor and she's among the front runners to get the Presidential or VP nomination.
Again, you have the unknown Obama from the same State (wait, was he?) with questions as to whether he's even an American winning the Presidency. Politicians are so reviled that the unknowns now have a better chance of winning.
Look at Romney. People hate him in his own State and he almost won. Didn't win his State but came close nationally. What matters is a few good moves over a career that can be harped on and the ability to look and sound good in front of the cameras.
Look at the candidates that ran in the last Presidential election and then decide if Madigan would not have a chance. She's not up against Abraham Lincoln, she's up against wacko right wing women and corrupt religious icons with a 1%er or two thrown in.

Obama won because he blamed Bush for everything, was coming in during a depression, and was african american.
Madigan would get crushed in a national election.
Not to mention Hillary Clinton would annihilate her in the primaries and she'd never even see any real election time.
My predecition....Daley will carry Crook County, but will lose the rest of the State. The only hope is that people in Cook County will remember Richard Daley's legacy of bad deals and nepotism.
Pshhhhh, bad deals. ALL leaders of major cities force through a wildly short sighted privatization of their parking meters and it's always considered a good idea to just bulldoze a runway when you can't close an airport through the proper channels.
