Some plot details for Star Wars VII

Storyline: Two 17 year old twins, a girl and a boy, are trained by their uncle Luke to be the greatest Jedi’s in the galaxy. Problems arise when the male twin turns to the dark side.

Jacen Solo – Male, 17 years old, lead – Jaina’s twin brother, one of the greatest Jedi’s in the world. A loner who is constantly struggling with the idea of what’s right and what’s wrong. Starts to turn to the dark side. Full of conviction that what he is doing is the “right thing”. Will eventually become Darth Caedus.

Close to the books. They entirely skip the gargantuan extragalactic alien invasion, a third sibling and that Jacen and Jaina were much older than seventeen when Jacen turned, killed Mara Jade, etc etc etc.

Not terrible as far as such things go, however! I am excite.

The Solo twins would make for a good trilogy IMO. Along with Anakin Solo.

My idea, another prequel trilogy. The Han Solo trilogy by AC Crispen.

I don't know anything about the extended Star Wars universe. Thinking about reading some of the books but not sure where to start since there are 100s of them. Dont really wanna ruin the new movies though..

If you are a Han Solo fan, check out the trilogy. From age 7 until 5 seconds where he sits down with Obi Wan and Luke.

One of the "thinner" books I'd say, but the premise was epic and still packed with potential. Would be tits to see what a good writer could do, cut loose on such a project.

I'd like to have seen shadows of the empire made a movie. That would have been a nice touch between ESB & ROTJ.

Also I think another good book to movie would be Heir to the empire

Ill tell you one book to not bother unless you are a die hard. Splinter of the Mind's Eye. Was written after the very first Star Wars movie was made, so it goes against a lot of SW universe and expanded universe ideas.
