Now THIS is the metal gear collection I've been waiting for So glad I dragged my feet and never picked up the HD collection now. This is supposed to be out sometime in June I guess. No word on cost yet either...

Konami has now confirmed the Legacy Collection, which "will include Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: HD Edition, Metal Gear Solid 3: HD Edition (which includes the original MSX versions of Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2), Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker HD Edition, Metal Gear Solid: VR Missions and Metal Gear Solid 4: Trophy Edition. In addition, the collection will also include two Ashley Wood digital graphic novels."

"We wanted to give Metal Gear Solid fans the opportunity to experience the series from beginning to end, all on one console," said Konami president Tomoyuki Tsuboi. "With the collection's multiple titles, players can truly see how Metal Gear Solid evolved into the critically acclaimed and beloved franchise it is today."

While doing some house cleaning over the weekend, I found the demo disc for MGS on PS1. This version is entirely in Japanese.

I Think it may have been, but mine is on a demo disk from like playstation magazine or something with other demos on it. I still have a bunch of those cds actually.

This gets a date finally. Not june tho. July 9th. And will cost $49.99. The only disappointing thing I've heard is that for metal gear solid, all you're getting is a download code for the game that already exists on PSN. So no hope for an HD remake there. Oh well.

Yeah, i havent played peacewalker, but i wanna try and do this right. Mgs3, peacewalker, (mgs ground zeros and phantom pain WOULD be next in the timeline), then metal gear 1 and 2 (thats gonna be interesting to play ), then metal gear solid, mgs2, and finally mgs 4.
