I was bouncing through all of the used car lots on 251 looking for a truck to buy. This thing has to go up for sale. My position is being eliminated at work and Im going to be surplus so I have to do this now
5 minutes after I passed him I blew my FRPS and was in a bar paking lot for an hour while shit cooled down. I always keep a spare FRPS and small adjustable wrench in the glove box. 5 minute swap and Im on the road again.
I cant stress how important it is for guys that own these cars to carry a spare FRPS and adj wrench to avoid an over night sit
This is my second one on a second teminator. Luckily I knew the signs. Car sputtered at the stop light, fuel pressure dropped to 5# and then to 18# at idle and then 20# and then 5#. I sputtered in to the bar parking lot and she died and wouldnt start up again. Pulled the vacuum line and smelled fuel. 1,2,3 done.
Ill swap the plugs out this weekend.
