actually the single cam F motors are the big thing right now- dime a dozen and the head, although only a single cam, outflows an H22....
cracked valves dont happen that fast... it takes awhile to heat up a valve to the point that cold air from lack of a manifold will crack a stemsurprised you didnt swallow a valve
