Carbon hood on a black car doesn't look too bad. It would look good if it was painted and maybe leave the sides of the cowl carbon or something a bit more subtle though.

I liked the carbon hood on my black car alot from about 15+ feet away, when you get closer it kind of looks grey instead of black. It might have been the brand of hood I had, but it was something that started to bother me after time.

Leave it unpainted please......If you wanted a light hood that had a cowl that you wanted to be paint matched you should have got fiberglass. Not just saying you really in general but to anyone who does that. There's no point really. How much lighter is CF compared to FG?

The whole point of the carbon fiber is the look, and yes it has been commonly seen on riced piles of slow shit but that doesn't tarnish the look completely for me.
