"Detailed my car"

Here is my first attempt and a full detail (minus buffing)


took me 5 hours to do.. and i still have come to the conclusion that black sucks to clean.


however it looks better than i have ever seen it

red vinyl was put on temporarily for a girl who runs a site called http://houseofgrafx.com/

she needed a cobalt for her site.. still deciding whether i wanna take them off of not.




Still gonna bring it to kamil or kevin for a real buff

What i did was...



Wash, Dry, Mothers Claybar, Wash, Dry, Mothers 3 step (paint cleaner, polish (2 coats on the hood) and wax)

I was gonna put on the summer rims and tire shine, but my buddy came over so i ran out of time

OMG that Horrible!!!

Tires on the lawn (not even stacked)
Reflection of the back board (very clear)
Too dark
Hose on the driveway
Too much glare and i can see every room on your house


The only thing good is The car looks Amazing! Nice detail Syp

Wet sand and buff. It sucks, but thats the only way.

orange peel is controllable???? i thought that was the paint.. not the clearcoat?

yeah, orange peel can be defeated... but it takes some work...

orange peel is not the paint. it is defiantly the clear. it takes alot of work to get rid of bad orange peel. and at that point you usually want to clear it again to be safe from what u removed.
