Long story short I went to Phillips Chevy today and found the truck I've always wanted so I bought it. With all of the incentives and loyalty cash my payment when down $50. It's a 2011 2500HD LTZ Z71 with a 6.0 gas (I smartened up and didn't get the diesel).

Yea on a 36 gallon tank I didn't really feel like spending the extra coin at the pump. The mileage isn't going to make that much of a difference. Plus $85 to change the oil, Holy hell.

sick truck. i was driving one of those for work a lot over the summer- that 6.0 is fucking awesome in that truck. pulls so well.

For a 9500 pound truck that 6.0 gets up and goes still. The ride isn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, and it's nice to finally have a fully loaded daily driver. I've never had something so damn loaded...

I didn't want to be paying more at the pump and more for oil changes if I don't want to do them on my own. I'd love 7xx+ torque but I don't pull anything that heavy where that would be needed.
