I love convertible Cobras, the lines and stance are just awesome. Its sad that you cant race it without the top being up, that would be some sweet 1/4s.

This generation is called the New Edge Mustang 1999-2004

But among the Cobra's there is a subset, the 99 & '01 Cobra is typically referred to as New Edge Cobra, whereas the '03 and '04 Cobra is named the Terminator (even though it's still a New Edge)

The '03 Cobra internal Ford Project code name was the Terminator.


(There was no '00 Cobra, and only 100 '02 Cobras were produced, all of which were shipped to Australia)

That's the stock emblem for all Mustangs.

Most guys stick a Snake emblem on their Cobra's

Mine is actually a custom job.. I took the snake emblem from a GT500 (before they were out) and epoxied it to the bracket. Now companies sell the same setup, that I have.

it's about 1/3 larger than the standard Cobra emblem, and it's more 3D. (i.e. raised)
