Did you even read the thread or just the first line of like 3 posts? I'm not complaining about a $2k "build". I was ready to do that. I'm worried about $4k in a new trans *before* any sort of building it. That's over $7k for a mild transmission and a converter. That's what I would consider unreasonable.

Need to contact Aldo Welds or Midnight Performance.

They had the 1st 10 speed in the 8s and have gone through multiple 10 speed rebuilds since on their Crimson Red twin turbo car.

Get the damn car out of the dealer and send trans to someone for a rebuild. Problem solved and only out minimal money

I read well enough. Guy buys 50k mustang and installs 8k blower kit. Trans goes and the moment dealer wont fix is when the crying ensues. Its probably around 3k to build the trans. No need for a converter if he wants to cheap out seeing these 10R80's dont really need them to go fast.

Please tell me what I'm missing?

I didn't bring it to the dealer yet. I didn't wanna bring it then then get the warranty voided if I had the opportunity to go back to stock and then bring it in.

I honestly think best thing to do is bring the car to dealer as is and work with them. This whole demod then bring to dealer and try hide shit makes no sense to me.

Not saying you but people seem to be doing this alot. Its a fucking mustang every dealer on the planet knows people are going to mod them.

That being said they need to prove the modifications directly caused the issues.

If they want to they can read pcm and find out howmany times its been flashed amd its game over then anyways if they want to play hardball so why fuck around bring it back to stock and play games?

None of that makes sense. It just work with dealer you bought it from and see how their customer service really is.

Edit. Speaking of dealers I think it would be worth calling Lebanon Ford or Beechmont and see how they handle the package cars they sell or call Terry from Beefcake racing hes the that started the Beechmont package cars.

Aftermarket tune. Powertrain warranty is already VOID. Bring the fucker in and if they warranty it you got lucky. If not, sack up and dig deep in those pockets or maybe start a go fund me page...lol
