Gav, did you have to run anything special for the switchbacks or were they just plug and play?

they were plug and play in terms of the socket / wiring.
To prevent the rapid flash issue with LEDs, I opted for replacing the 2 flashers ( 1 for turn signals and 1 for hazards ) instead of the in line/wire resistors.
these were located behind the knee panel of the dash under the steering wheel.
I am no mechanic...changing these out was a piece of cake.

The resistors get hot and I don't need to burn the car down.
Plus, if I replace the rear turn signals with LEDs, I wont have to do anything but replace the bulbs

Thats exactly what I was wondering about (resistors). Yes they get hot as shit, you could probably light a cigarette of them, lol.
I'm going to do LED's and probably switchbacks on my Regal. I read that you can go the route you went.

I noticed a HUGE improvement over stock.

I do need to look at mine, I think my low lights stay on when the highs come on. I thought my projectors ďopenedĒ more if you will and thatís where most of your high beam came from. I couldíve wrong, Iíll have to go look

Ha, I was right. So inside the projector housings there is what I belive is referred to as the cutoff door. This is the flap that provides the sharp cutoff line you see on your wall. When I flip my high beams on you can hear the headlights click and that door flips open allowing the hid lights to shine over a greater area. My factory location high beams come on as well when this happens. I can’t remeber if this was an option when I ordered my kit or not. I remeber going through a bunch of options when I did, but I don’t remember specifically what they all were.

Yup that's how it works. I'm glad yours aren't frozen shut from lack of use.

Thanks, and gotcha!

You should. I think the hid lights may provide more light output than the high beams.
