2010 Jetta TDI. It was my best friend's car who bought it new. He got almost every option for the Diesel except navigation. It has 145K highway miles and came with a set of Winter tires on the factory rims. So far I'm loving it!

I think I have this all screwed up though. My car is a diesel and my truck uses gasoline...

TDI forums indeed! He told me about a reoccuring CEL that came back on the day after I picked it up. He had the EGR valve replaced but the TDI forums I creeped seems to suggest an EGR filter as being the main culpret. That research saved me the multi-thousand dollar repair that VW usually tries. Now all I need to do is find the filter...its not an O'Reilly kind of part...perhaps Rock Auto.
