Took it for a test drive and couldn't say no.

I like it, except for losing the AWD. How different is it from your old 335xi? I am guessing a little smaller and lighter?

Thanks. Yeah, it's smaller, lighter, better gas mileage, and a ton other positives.

I was a bit iffy about losing AWD, but snow tires on a RWD perform just about as good as all seasons on an AWD if not better in most conditions aside from the initial movement from a stop. I've done many winters in my old Firebird, Firehawk, and GTO. They are probably going to come out with an AWD next year or so, but you also lose on performance when you go that route - drivetrain loss, gas mileage, and fun.

My 335 was tuned to 400hp or so but this car feels just as quick. The transmission acts just like a DCT which is like crack. Also, it comes equipped with Michelin Pilot Super Sports. May have to get a set for the vette next.

Matt, that's an awesome ride. I agree with the RWD on snows, and you should be fine so long as the snow isn't bottoming the car out. Enjoy!

Hey what's up Dan. Thank you sir. Yea, clearance is a bit worrisome but I'll be doing my best not to use it for plowing haha. It's so rolling the dice but worth it for the rest of the year.
