It's more of a European car thing to do the stance setup anyways. They're useless for anything else, might as well make them look cool.

You can't tell from some of the pictures but there is a lot of stretch on the rear of the gti. my car runs 19x10's with 255's, the rear on the GTI is also 19x10 and he has 225's on there.

I know a guy that does alignments on the cheap. He can fix those wheels so that the car sits right. Those tires are not going to wear properly.

Ahh yes, you're right. Those tires on the GTI are totally on the correct sized rim.
