Not as much fun as a car, but it still has wheels.

The wife and I have been looking at RVs and trailers for a little while and last week we came across this gem. 1999 Dutchman fifth wheel 28 footer. Its needs minimal work but is road ready for travel. Picked it up on a steal as the similar trailers we were looking at were 3000 to 5000 more than we actually paid for this one. It is a 1 owner trailer and everything is documented. Large pop out, central a/c, and full kitchen. Here are a few of the pictures I got today (crappy phone pictures):

We plan on remodeling the counters, floors and cabinets as well as insulating it all around to be 4 season ready as we will be parking it year round in KY.

We will be drawing up plans for remodel and new storage ideas to make most of the space, to house a big screen TV of course, and will post more updates as we go. My favorite part of this all will be the HD pickup truck that'll be sitting in my parking lot in the near future.

I know this isn't really car related but figured a few people here might dig it.

campers are fucking awesome. we had a 25' expandable.. i really miss the whole camping thing. i love all the outdoorsy shit but when it's time for bed, nothing beats sleeping in a nice comfortable spot and not worrying about the animals outside. :bigthumb:

nice pick up.

what are you thinking about as a tow rig?
