Well I traded my 2003 impala a couple weeks ago. Trans was slipping bad, and I didn't want to deal with the expensive transmission building of the 4t65e. So I found this car up for trade. A 98 z28. It's a t top car, has 140k miles, it's an auto. Bad news is it had a rod knock. So the teardown began. Found out it spun 5 rod bearings, looks like the previous owner NEVER did an oil change.
Since I am low on funds as of right now, I'm doing a simple build and seeing how long it will last. Plans as of right now are to get these parts.

Ls6 valve springs given to me
Cheap headers
Maybe a stall converter if I can find one cheap
And spray the world at it later on
