Overall good choices imo. Should be fun yet ecconomical with the qj. Cammed up you will probably need the weaker main piston spring. Is there some where you are getting tuning parts from locally or mailborder?

I always dreamed of putting turbines on the Fastro one day. They're just such a badass wheel in a 70s kinda way. You indeed may have committed an act of thievery by getting them for $90 too.

Is there any meat at the top of the ports? How much clearance are you talking? May just be time for a die grinder depending.

Not enuf room to clearence it (manifold) would have to modify the valve covers also. Its almost like they sent me a vortec style manifold.

I was watching a Youtube video on the knockoff heads, and the guy was talking about the ports on them not matching to a conventional gasket, but matching a raised port gasket. If they knocked off the intake and cast it to fit.............

Today, got rid of the aftermarket intake and resprayed to the best I could the engine bay before clouds moved in and threatened rain. And THEN NO RAIN after I start to button it up but just have to run fuel and Vacumm Lines and get a battery Then off to the show on the 31st in Rock Falls Illinois. I drug my feet most of summer because of a manifold, carb and dist swap and Then I concentrated on a Career change soFar so good with the new Job and the wifey even starts there Monday so things are finally looking up

they will be for sale with the 7" fronts when the Turbines get here and both have very minimal surface rust that will be taken off with a little elbow grease and SOS pads

Check out the portfolio page for a couple shots of your car! You can see it with the red wheels on there and a low sleek version with larger turbines and thinner sidewalls.

NewSight Designs graphic design rendering photorealistic classic car There are pics on G3GM as well.

I am starting an SE featured area on my site and I have some questions I posted on G3GM for you as well.

Also when it warms up, need to run all Vacuum lines for carb, move distributor one tooth over ( after finding TDC ) then running plug wires, hooking fuel lines back up, GET FIRE EXT ( last time firing with this carb it caught on fire ), then hook battery up and pray for start LMAO
