I don't think I've ever posted this here. Car has ZZP 3" DP, Magnaflow cat, resonator removed, gutted airbox, ZZP PCM and some LED Tail lamps with V-LEDs in the reverse lamps and interior, otherwise stock. Car is in gorgeous shape on the outside even with 126K on it. I love this paint. Reminds me of Mercury in an old thermometer.

Cleaned the bajeezus out of it today, floormats and carpet will be getting shampoo'd soon with my brother's carpet extractor.

I know the cracks are there for good in the leather but I really want to find something to minimize the visiblity and somewhat mask them.. everything I've tried doesn't really work or make it softer.

On a "bad" scale of 1-10, I'd say it's a 2-3.5 underneath

Came quite a ways since when we picked it up. Took 4 days to completely clean the car inside and out when we got it.

List off the top of my head on what we did..

pinstripe removal, replaced brake lines (two were breached by rust), 4 quickstruts, front LCA's, new sway bar links and bushes F/R, new headlamps L/R and a junkyard bumper. Sadly, two weeks after we found flawless bumper in junkyard, he got rear ended and that's why there's license plate bolt holes in there and it's collapsed left to right in the license plate niche. Pocketed the check and we've been on the hunt for another clean rear bumper as well as the proper GT/GTP bumper with the gray insert, as the car has an SE bumper on it currently due to the fact the previous owner was hit by a snow plow and the body shop put the wrong one on.

Here's how it looked when it came to us.

I think it looks pretty good all things considered.

He agrees. It's just a matter of talking him into biting the bullet.

Am I weird if I kinda like these? they're different.

I like the tri stars, but they look better polished.

Gen 2 spoiler and some tips will make the ass look killer IMO.

single round 3 inch tips are way to small because the bumper cutout is about 6 inches if not more.

99 GT. Great car but I payed waaaayyyyyyy too much for that damn thing. Granted it only had 65000 on it when I bought. Then my mom bought it off me when I got the GTO. Then my mom bought an 04 and sold the 99 to my sister. I think it's at 115k now.
