93 lx

Picked up a 93 lx notch a few months ago. Car was in good shape but needed a lot of motor work and some TLC for the body. Here is a quick video of the car as she sits now. I can't wait to get it out on he street.

Love that idle...are you sure you wanna get rid of the stick? My 91 is an AOD and I keep contemplating going the other way....

Stick is great to drive on the street but I want to hit the track a lot. Rather not miss a gear and scatter the motor, Plus I will be more consistant. True I built a street car not a race car but the auto will be quicker.

what kind of times are you looking to run this next season? Or is that top secret?

Haven't figured it out yet. Car weighs 2800 makes 511 with 450tq at the tires. Mike post from dynotunemp tuned it and he had to pull over 5 degrease of timing out at the top of the run to keep it at 511 and that's at only 11lbs. Said the car would not stop making power. I still haven't added the meth yet. Doing that for detonation not hp. I'm running a stock block so don't want to go over board and split the block. I can shift my ass off but I'm looking at 10.90 rowing and 10.30 ish with a auto and a trans break. It has another 60 hp to the tires in there but wan it reliable not on the raged edge. Still that's good numbers for a street car.

Hope to see some of you guys out on the streets next year.
