thanks, the 1st few cuts were stressful. then finding a way to cut the curved laminated DOT approved glass was a major issue. lots of tests.

the paint I used was actually Summits single stage gloss black then laid summits satin clear over it, three coats clear.

I would kill to have an RWB Porsche and you basically built your own and looks damn near as awesome and the chop top just sets it apart perfectly. Great job

the engine stock is 405, the car weighs 2200 and change. I have a personalized map on the ecu. custom headers. emissions deleted. no power steering, no AC only the alternator runs off the crank.
the 915 transaxle has a very low parricidal value.
I have not really pushed it yet. There is a Porsche event in 2 weeks that I want the car in. I don't want to break anything between now and then.
I will get it on a dyno in July.

could be, you guys probably know better than me. All I know is it is one of the easiest engines to break down and rebuild.
Cheap, strong, reliable and readily available.

Thought the ls6 was a 408

911_LS6 is responding to the question of how much hp. The stock LS6 is rated at 385 hp or 405 hp, depending on year built (01 was 385, all others were 405).

Slow Chevy, you are referring to displacement, and the LS6 is NOT a 408, it is a 346 same as the LS1. GM never made a factory 408 ci LS motor
