Anyways long story short look at the pictures it explains everything but I put a brand new crate motor into her and a month later overhauled the trans. at 160k miles I should be good for awhile.

Front bank of Pistons.... still held decent compression lol.

Buff and wax. Looking good at 160k miles. like driving a new car. Also replaced both cv axles and links. and that brings us to today. I love this car too much.

Thanks! Polo Green. Hated it when I bought it but absolutly love it cause you never see a polo green compg.

I couldve gotton away with pistons most likely but the valvetrain was so worn out. the crank and cam had a ton of miles and I got a decent deal on a brand new engine. Since I plan on keeping the car it made the most sense to do. I would have rebuilt the motor if it wasn't my DD, I had the time, and it wasn't my only vehicle lol

I have always wanted a Polo Green 04+ but you never see them. Loved the color on my old 00. (similar green) Looks amazing all day long.

Yeah it had to be broken in. As difficult as it was for me..haha. It never was ran before so started it up let it run for 15 mins or so. shut it off changed the oil. then did (2) 500 mile oil changes, and then at 1,000 miles did a mobil 1 oil change and have been good since. If anything was gonna go wrong it would have in the first few minutes it was running.
