we sold the wives '10 mazda cx7 and decided to get back into a 3800. we ended up picking up a 04 comp g. bought it from original owner and it's in pretty good condition. the back bumper needs re-cleared but that's it. oh and i painted the calipers silver because they had them painted like a baby blue color and it looked like crap.

no planning on anything crazy with it. just tinting the tails, headers, intake, 3.4,ect. but that will be all. it rides real nice and im kind pissed i owned 3 different 97's and never a newer one, these seats are amazing!!

havn't detailed the car yet. just used some meguires quick detailer to snap a few pics today since i was off.

i just found out something pretty damn awesome!!!

this was the info someone posted on clubgp for me. and my car checks out for it

"Your car is a pre-production Comp G. The Pre-production cars had the emblems on the doors, a different GTP trunk badge, silver calipers, TAC shift on shifter and most had a red engine cover. You can find some info here. ClubGP Message Forum troubleshooting "

inside the drivers door i believe it will say the build date. well at least month and year.

and some early production gps had those door badges. and there are gtp se's out there with heat extractors on the hood like the 40th anv have and different badges and rims. my uncle has one.

also some gp's done have key holes in the trunk.
