just picked her up today.
1992 Honda Accord Lx, 2.2l, auto, 113k miles, flawless interior (needs a quick vac), JVC H/U installed earlier this year, a little honda rust, tires that are a few months old, new timing belt and water pump, fresh coolant, and a fresh oil change. most of the work done to this car i got paid to do
it's been in one family since new and has been maintained at my shop for the last 15 years. i picked it up REALLY cheap because it has a trans problem.
anyway, on to the pics
and here is the source of the trans problem
this is a very common issue with these older auto hondas, their resistors burn up or a capacitor leaks and causes the car to go into limp mode. the customer did not want to pay for diagnostics, so i talked with her about buying it. she shot me a price and i accepted.
woot for gas mileage and 87 octane gas
