ENGINE AND ENGINE BAY MODS

need to get some more pics, and more items to come

I decided to lighten the front up a little and make a little more bay room, so i decided on a light weight battery.

Well, finally started getting the ball rolling on my engine build for the winter. Got in my Teksid block which will be getting all the goodies needed to handle what i can throw at it. Crank should be in mid next week, hopefully, and can post up a few more pics then. Have to wait for the custom pistons to come in before all can get sent out for machine work.

Here is the crank for the new build. It is a Livernois stroker crank, which is a Kellogg forged with Livernois specs.

Got the new shortened and ported manifold for boost. 5" runner lengths

SUSPENSION & AXLE

Well i finally got around to installing all the front suspension goods. I was debating finishing that or the trans and just decided to hold off installing the trans for a few more weeks. The setup is a Chromoly k, steel tubular arms, Strange 10 ways, strange coilover kit, Qa1 14-175 springs, with MM camber/caster plates to finish it off. I had the arms and k sprayed semi gloss black by my work, and drilled and tapped the arms with grease fittings to keep the poly's lubed at all times. The rear end is a 8.8 that got sent to Strange to have them weld the axle tubes, straighten, and weld up the rear brace kit. I then installed a set of FRPP 4.10 gears with all ford bearings and seals, new '03 cobra diff, Strange 31 spline axles, LPW Ultimate diff cover, LPW rear brace kit, and topped it off with some Ford sythetic gear oil and friction modifier. I still have the stock control arms for now till i figure out which ones i want to go with, but car hooks pretty good for now. In back I installed Strange 10 ways and bags on both sides with my nice little secret fill spots and has Steeda sport springs.

AUTO TRANS CONVERSION

I actually decided to mod and build the trans myself with the help of a few people. Thanks to Darrin at BC Auto for the auto VB w/TB, midshaft, and carbon o/d band. Thanks to clickclickracing where i found a ton of information and spent a while before i actually started modding it just reading everything i could.

This is the only dyno sheet i have. when i went the BAP was not working, got it fixed and returned for another tune, but had auto in at that time and no dyno sheet.

After a fun ride in the rain, finally got to Kurgan's to get the tune

EXTERIOR MODS

Since i have owned it, i have tried to be somewhat subtle with appearance, except for the cowl hood lol.

Here's a pic of when i just installed the '03 front bumper on the car and a few other random mod pics for the install



















The hood is from VFN and for a rough fit lined up very well. My car has never had any of the body bolts cracked, so i was happy i didn't have to loosen my fenders.

Thanks. The converter is fine, but too loose and needs to be sent out over winter to get tightened and clutch's upgraded by circle D.

Had to recheck the name PI gives mine, called stallion for ford based trans as i run a 4R70
