Default Turbo marauder

To start off I knew I was going turbo so I had to make room so you can see the turbo so the coolant and power steering resevior had to move.

So now plenty of room to see the turbo.

Plenty of parts for me and justbob to install

Mock up the turbo

Bob had to custom make the waste gate pipe he did damn good if you ask me.

Ok now time for the finished pictures

Thanks to bob the install was not to bad it only took us almost 3 days to finish it. And we took our time to do it was no rush at all. Fired right up and drives fine. But I still need to Dyno tune it befor I can really see what she can do now. So in a couple weeks ill have it tuned to see what it has for power.

I'm glad to see this kit finally installed on a MM.

Great job!

You plan on keeping the UDP's on the engine? What did you do for a fan shroud?

Excellent.

I see you spent all your money on the turbo, and not on a decent camera.

Yeah, what did you do for the fans???

The only drawback to this kit is the downpipe, which goes directly under the Aluminum engine cradle.
You cant lower your car if you have this kit.

The only drawback to this kit is the downpipe, which is open directly under the engine, so it doesn't go under the cradle... it is sort of loud but a turbo acts as a muffler amirite?!

For the fans I went and bought a 14inch and a 10inch electric fan and we did a little cutting on them to make them fit and wired them to a stock fan modual. Works great I drove in traffic with a/c on and so far so good. But I'll see what a 90+ degree day will do.

Turbo Ernie (south Chicago) had one in 04 (ptk) but his car was stolen and never recovered.

And dont forget the twin turbo Marauder that was seen on the internet years ago.
...and that famous guy (choco ono?? I dunno) has a turbo marauder.

It has been amazing watching the reactions of Marauder owners respond to 'mystery cars' with 'mystery power adders' that were off the grid for so long. They literally cant believe it even if they see it with their own eyes.

Thats internet disease right there.....

16 and 10. Could not have been a better fit. If you see a concern in hotter temps, remember we can always mock up a sheet metal shroud.

I really liked the exhaust note. Something totally unique. Maybe I should have kept this? Have fun with her, AFTER the dyno..

Just Advance auto.

http://m.advanceautoparts.com/mt/sho...m=electric+fan

10" is the same brand. They seem to put out more than I expected. Will they last? For what little he drives, probably last ten years LOL. I would personally look into a set of spals assuming they are slim enough as these were pretty close as is. But that's because I drive the shit out of my hooptie.

Gbodyparts.com has a dual fan setup that works in the GN. I am sure with a little modifying it would probably work in a MM. There not cheap ($200 ish) but just throwing something out to look at.
