I started this thread on the other site and decided to relocate it here. I made a promise to the mystery member that I would not reveal his identity on MM.net good thing this is not MM.net.

Leovampire is at the top of the HP/TQ list.

If you want your info added then shoot me a PM, the HP/TQ must be proven on a dyno with SAE correction, and the stock knock sensors must be active in the tune.

Leovampire's numbers are for NA??!!!

Wow! Those are bigger than prolly 75% of the SC'd guys; something doesn't seem right...

Dave is an old school racer that has alot of experience with water injection. He built a custom kit that hides the injectors under the lower intake so its out of plain site. Ive got pics of his system and his original dyno sheet somewhere

Dave has ALOT of headwork (all done on a flowbench), a complete valvetrain swap, a fully worked intake, and water injection. Trust me he put alot into his MM build

I wonder what the following would put me at on my big bore setup.

knock sensor for my tuner he will not advance timing further....without it.

Hey Brian, did you degree the Comps? If so what did you set the LCs?

Steeda pullys- 8HP

My goal is at least 350rwhp with shorties and 91 octane in Cali. I bet 360s/370s with long tubes but alas Kalifornia is killing me....

Travis I went with FR500 stainless steel valves, rockers and followers and replace the FRPP gt40 cams with the comp grinds. And yes 370ftlbs is so much fun!

Congradulations on your new nubmbers Breeze, you just made best NA Marauder.

I think your car is a great example on how bad the cams can be off on these motors from the factory. Your cams were obviosly installed closer to the desired LCs

There actually dot to dot. When I had my heads redone we just dropped them in w/o setting. Think cobra cams would push more out or would just subtract by adding?

If you can find a set of 96~98 Cobra cams and degree them @ 108LCs on the intake and 112LCs on the exhaust, advanced @ 4* with a set of Cloyes secondary gears

Without a doubt you will see a huge gain

Rob (massacre)
Todd (nasvt)

I know Todd will do it without any questions, Rob on the other hand may require a little arm twisting to get him away from his current build

A good starting point is the comp cams degree kit, it comes with a DVD and mostly all the tools needed to pull the job off.

Only downfall is it comes with a 8 or 10" degree wheel. Go to Summit racing and get an 18" degree wheel and your golden.
