In a heavy MM sporting a low boost application I would stick with the aluminum block along with a high compression ratio. There are alot of builders out there, they all offer something diffrent. I would look into the JDM stroker short block. Its priced right, its fully forged, and you get a new Mach1 block. Did I mention they also have the right price.

Next in line I would look into Modular Performance or Livernoise short block.

Send your stock heads out for freshning up and install a degreed/advanced set of 96 Cobra cams while your at it.
