Its getting an Aluminator, Whipple 2.3, modified fuel system, Longtubes, J-Mod, Battery Relocation and whatever else I left out.

I noticed the install had the headers installed. Is that only the Kooks or do the Stainless Works also install this way?

BTW, you should document the entire R/R procedure. Would be a great read.

You can definitely install the engine with ONE header installed.

If the trans is out and you have a load leveler (which I dont use) you can install it with both headers on.

Wow the hood & radiator were never removed. What else is needed to make the iluminator swap work ? different fly wheel and ?

This one has low compression so I had to swap the Cobra timing cover out for a MM unit.
A 10:1 Aluminator has the MM cover.

Other than that (and the flexplate) its bolt in and go.

Just made the passenger side fitting real quick.....
Its just a brass freeze plug with a brass 1/4NPT x 1/2 Barb fitting soldered together. I just have to modify a piece of pipe to drive it into the head.

$5 dollars in materials, lol.

Just made the tool to install the passenger side fitting:

I will take pics of it installed and the 03 Cobra lower intake manifold in place tonight.

Made some good progress tonight!

Drivers side header is on...see pic for making it easier to install (clearing the dipstick)

Next the Eaton Cooling Mod.
So so so so simple to make yourself. If you've ever soldered copper pipe you can do this!
Set in place with silicone around the rim:

Installed with the Manifold in place. There is just enough room for the hose and hose clamp....

Fuse box relocation:

And the teaser.....

Gonna have to lose the hood blanket for sure, possiblly cut some hood webbing, but the hood closed as pictured.
No work tomorrow, its Half Price Pizza and 2 dollar Corona night. :alcoholic
