I noticed the install had the headers installed. Is that only the Kooks or do the Stainless Works also install this way?

BTW, you should document the entire R/R procedure. Would be a great read.

You can definitely install the engine with ONE header installed.

If the trans is out and you have a load leveler (which I dont use) you can install it with both headers on.

Just came in Yesterday. Nothing is broken, the car is just too slow.

Its getting an Aluminator, Whipple 2.3, modified fuel system, Longtubes, J-Mod, Battery Relocation and whatever else I left out.

Just made the passenger side fitting real quick.....
Its just a brass freeze plug with a brass 1/4NPT x 1/2 Barb fitting soldered together. I just have to modify a piece of pipe to drive it into the head.

$5 dollars in materials, lol.

Made some good progress tonight!

Drivers side header is on...see pic for making it easier to install (clearing the dipstick)

Next the Eaton Cooling Mod.
So so so so simple to make yourself. If you've ever soldered copper pipe you can do this!
Set in place with silicone around the rim:

Gonna have to lose the hood blanket for sure, possiblly cut some hood webbing, but the hood closed as pictured.
