Went and shot the .450 Bushmaster AR pistol today. Not bad, I actually like it better than the 629 I shot. I wouldn't want to shoot it without gloves but that's just a comfort thing. I put the whole box through it and the mag feeding works too except the last shot because the follower hits the bottom lugs on the bolt (they are enlarged for use with what amounts to a .45 ACP/.308 sized case head.)

Up next I may take it and shave some ounces off the muzzle. I also need to see if I can change the sighting out to a red dot or something. I'm not really a fan of the iron peep sights with this thing. I may try to paint the front and see if that helps some but I think a pistol scope or a red dot would be best.

Oh, any one looking for some Glock compatible 80% lowers? $25 each. EP Armory. Gonna bust my jig out again, probably one 9mm and one to occupy my Chiappa 22LR upper.

My PCC had issues this weekend, need to spend some time going through it making sure everything is setup right....

On the upside, I won a new Beretta LTT Elite 92 this weekend.

I shot a range 92, I don't know that I was impressed. The trigger was okay for what it was and I just wasn't a fan.

That said having one that's not a clapped out range gun may make a difference although I'd say that the trigger would be nicely worn in by then.

My first gun was a 92FS....

Hoping a 92 Elite LTT shoots better than that, and if so I'll be impressed.

Honestly I just hope it's remotely close to the Shadow 2's all my friends are shooting. Those fucking things shoot ridiculously nice.

I will say from memory it did seem like an accurate gun and I have no doubt it will shoot well. If they tuned the trigger up I bet it is really nice. There was no real fault except the ergos didn't fit me well.

I sent in my renewal application on January 14, and I'm still waiting.

I have no problems checking the status from Google chrome on my phone. In the birthdate box you have to clear out the underscore and slash characters before you type your DOB (format mm/DD/yyyy).

Did some mods on the 450 bush AR pistol. Took the lathe to the barrel and shed some weight. I pulled the rear sight off to make the weight comparisons the same as before mods.

I cut the barrel down to .75 until I got to the length of chamber.

After that I cut the taper.

Going from HBAR to a modified medium profile was worth about 6oz on a 10.5" barrel. Up next probably a cheapie red dot to ditch the dorito and turning off the front threading.

Beretta shot well, Iím a little left with it but overall not bad.... I think itíll stick around for awhile.

On the other hand, shooting a PCC is like cheating.

I'm wanting to do a reorg of my gun safe. I was wondering if any of you have ever done a system like this and what your thoughts were. Did you actually get any more space?

Hey, dumb question for you guys. On the AR pistol above, what is a decent budget red dot? Anything I should know in buying one? I've never done it before, I'm looking to shoot this as a conventional pistol not as a pistol I hold like a rifle. I don't need to get busted in the jaw by a charging handle.

Primary Arms makes a really nice and simple one that has a 50k hour battery. I have them on a couple of my rifles and really like it.
