hey sorry, about the VEEEEERY overdue reply, but you are correct. It was installed backward. Though, the only reason for that was the fact that if it is mounted right, it doesn't fit into my bag, and I just grabbed it from the bag to grab a picture; didn't remount it for use.
good eye!

Wife just got her a M&P 22 sport with Sig red dot..

Also, my G17 got a couple of upgrades.. and I'm researching my carry options.. g42 is high-ish on the list.

Had issues with the lightweight build last weekend. Going to take it out again this weekend to see if I cant get it ironed out. 2A Arms recommend a Sprinco RED spring for their Titanium Regulated Bolt Carrier, and I could get it to eject cases, but not lock back after the last round in a magazine.

Going to try a lighter spring and see if that'll help.

Wanted this setup to work but if I cant get it figured out I'll change to a regular lightweight bolt carrier and an adjustable gas block instead.

But bro.

It's lightweight. That's clearly all you need.

Meh, i knew it would be more finicky then a milspec build, just gotta figure out the kinks. This is actually the stuff I like doing now, tinkering to get it running good.

My first build runs like a top no problem, so I can always fall back on that.

i've built several guns several different ways.. the very best performing and reliable guns were built using a standard nickel boron bcg with a full length buffer tube running taran tactical buffer springs.. seriously amazing reliability and without needing an adjustable gas block. i of course added an adjustable gas block JIC i needed it. this setup is what taran uses on all his pro builds and this dude knows his stuff.. i am beyone impressed on my own rifles

Finally. The kit arrived.

Ground Zero Precision 300 BLK pistol kit. I patiently waited like a good law abiding citizen 21 business days (they say most orders go out 14-20) so they upgraded me from a Ballistics Advantage barrel to a Faxon barrel. Typical 7075 upper, 9" 1:8 Faxon 416R barrel, "A2" bird cage, nothing real special but this kit is literally an entire gun minus the lower receiver and no hand guard. I had my UTG Leapers Pro left over from it originally being on my rifle. Had to take a grinder to where it mates to the barrel nut because the gas block wouldn't slide in. Definitely going to be ordering something else, probably another BCM KMR except go with a 10" (12 maybe?) because I know for a fact that flash hider I posted above will not fit in this hand guard and I don't like it because it's super bulky for what I'm trying to make a super compact truck/SHTF/we're going north because Russia attacked gun. I mean pistol.

Still waiting on my 80-lower EZ Jig so I can do my lower and get it all put together.

Talked with 2A and they think it's bolt bounce on my rifle, so I'm going to try a heavier buffer to see if I can slow it down some and see if that will help it.

If it continues giving me problems Ill be switching to the adjustable gas block to see if I can't get it sorted out....

Should switch to a pinned 14.5" barrel to get more weight off it too.

sweet.. i hope it gets sorted out.. I think the AGB should do the trick for sure. I don't have a ton of experience with low mass BCG's but I would assume the gun may need more gas for the bcg to cycle properly on the same spring, or a lighter spring with the same amount of gas

Thatís what I would think too, the bolt carrier is adjustable instead of the gas block on this setup, and Iím running it fully open to get it to eject, and they think itís too much gas causing the bolt bounce, so Iíll have to take it to an outdoor range soon where Iíll have time to mess with it since indoors you ge5 an hour and thatís it.

Yeah.

He has webinars, where he reviews the firearms, and then afterward he gives the item away to one of the people registered to watch the webinar.

I've spent about $300-350 on webinar views but winning a G19 and G19X definitely more than covers that.

If you join the group on FB you get a notification when a new item pops up.... The two Glock ones sell out in a hurry.

You don't need it, just check his actual website frequently to see what he has, and get in on there. He will send you the video to the reviews through test message on your cellphone via youtube video and you can watch that way.

As long as you put your cell number in the invoice during checkout, you should be good to go. He'll send out a mass text message with the video when he does it.

This is true. Like I mentioned, I just like the FB feed because it pops up when he's posting something so you can get to it fast. Some of the shit sells out in a hurry.
