this is an unusual help wanted ad, as it isnt for a job but actually just seeing who has a sandblaster/ media blaster and would be cool with me using it. we have one at work but unfortunately i cant use it because of the nature of what i want to blast. the part in question is a receiver and barrel for my AK47. A fairly small part but it is about 22" in total length just to give you an idea of the size cabinet i would need. it is just standard paint id be stripping (not a crazy milspec coating) so it wouldnt take too long or contaminate your machine. i just need to prep the thing for refinishing. If you are worried about safety/legality i can assure you this part is about as deadly as a baseball bat in the condition it will be in and it is registered and legal for me to own and transport. my schedule is also prettymuch open and im not looking to do this right away.
