i walked in and asked for 18 pr hour got that without question then after a month got a 2 dollar raise
the tow guys make 25-30 pr hour for heavy tow drivers
office bitch pay ?? no clue

Only way I could leave my current position for another one is, if the pay was 60k. Sound like something they would do?

the tow guys that work full time make that, this week alone our guys have worked 12-13 hours mon - wends so the work is there and we get time and a half for o/t so its doable
as a mechanic its not likely to make that we are not a big enuff shop to make that kinda money and most of our mechanical work is pretty light

We do clutches and trans work and diffs I consider that easy light work. In frame rebuilds and rewire jobs I consider big jobs

I used to do that as a job back in the good old days. Sucks to take all the tools out of the garage to do work at work. Not like any job would supply them lol
