LS1 valve cover gasket leak

The valve cover gasket on the passenger side seems to be leaking a bit of oil, right in the center. I am going to wipe it down to be sure, but oil on top of the exhaust manifolds is a pretty good sign.

Am I removing this or just tightening down the cover?

i would snug up the bolts first. the valve covers are cheap and easy to do though. how many miles are on the car?

15 but they are aftermarket covers so they have been off at least once. I am guessing more.

It has some Comp Cams stuff under that do not fit under the stockers. They are Morosos.

I tightened it and that netted nothing so yesterday I pulled it and the gasket was not in very good shape. So I put on a new gasket. I have to wait until the rest of the residual oil smell burns off. I could not get it all cleaned off. But at the very least I think it is better. I am going to try to verify the oil isn't leaking today.
