AMS Hearse build

I'm sure many of you have seen the car at our Open House or heard of the crazy Hearse.

The goal is the have the fastest and quickest hearse in the world

basics:

stock LQ4
918 springs
ARP head studs
LS6 cam
Vic JR, Aarons Elbow and LS2 TB
4L85E and 3K stall
9" rearend
Wilwood brakes
Truck manifolds
PTE GT42R / 1.28 AR
Tial WG's and BOV

We plan to run the stock motor for the first season to shake any bugs out of the combo, track the car and surprise a few people.

We have our AMS Blog we will keep updated on the car. The goal is to have it ready for testing sometime in early 2012 and as of now it's looking promising.

If I remember right (could be way off) Tony Stewart had a badass hearse built on Rides or Unique whips or something of the sort. Badass for sure.

you used a truck acc mount to get the alt up there? shaved off a tab to get it to work or what?

Yes it has truck acc. with a modified bracket and idler.
