ok I am going to be running some 42# injectors

my question is will this pump be enough of an upgrade..

i do plan on spraying eventually but wouldn't expect to see anything over 600 hp..

it says it supports upwards of 600hp but... ya know

If your're running the hotwire kit too, you should be fine. That's what I ran my 200 shot on. 42#s, racetronix/walbro 255, racetronix hotwire kit.

Same setup but blower with 60s made 660. It will be fine for what u want. Could also run a boost a pump if you needed a little closer to 700. I know you said 42s but just showing the walbro 255 can handle it and then some.

Like said before, it's plenty of pump. I was running 55# injectors with e85 on a w-body (same pump) and was no where near static. I put in a BAP and was running 72-75# of FP with it after I had it for awhile, and it held up like a champ. Pump is still in the car, and has held up for almost 5 years too.

oh another Question.. Do i need to upgrade the fuel rail or will stock be fine? I would like to keep a low profile under the hood so some flashy billet rails would not be preferred.. but if necessary I will get some black ones

600hp on a FI car I would begin to worry about a stock rail. Distribution issues start to come to mind and starving certain injectors.

600hp and some of that being N2O assisted then stock rails are fine.

You may want to talk to Lonnie or Nasty N8 about the fuel rails. i was told that 550-600ish whp should be fine with stock fuel rails. That was a discussion I had with Lonnie, but that is strictly going off of a talk about my setup of 8lbs of boost with a cam where no spray is involved. May be different with spray, not sure in that regard.

aeromotive is coming out with a pump that'll do 340ish at 40 psi at 13.5 volts
get a boostapump and it'll do 410 or so at 17.x volts

or just grab two walbro 255s and shove them in your tank and do a twin pump setup

peace of mind is worth another 140 bucks IMO

Newer rails puts less working pressure on pump or any pusher type! Stock rails at that 600hp becomes your limiting factor, not to mention voltage drop...
