Line lock folks, step inside

Bought a hurst line lock solenoid off a buddy pretty cheap. I went out and bought two lengths of "domestic" break line with ends but neither of them seem to be able to seal correctly. Of course I bought the lines before I took it apart... so the fitting at the master is way off...

So I thought I'd just use the stock ends and put them on the lines I bought... but then I remembered that my flaring tool is F'd up for that tiny ass tubing size...

Can anyone tell me if what ends I need? I'd really just like to go to the store and buy whatever I need... I don't like flaring/making brake lines at all.

i used teflon tape on the SLP kit i put on my mustang. they came with the correct prebent lines tho. i had no seal problems. didnt leak once. make sure those lines are pefectly straight to the solenoid and not at an angle.

i know you can buy the prebent kit, not sure if hurst has one for theirs though.

If youve got a flare tool, i may be able to come out and help ya if you dont wanna buy the prebent kit. I made my own for my linelock and it didnt leak.

id get the SLP kit if they make one for your car. best kit , i think. lines where perfect and had no problems with install or leaks.

yea I do, actually have 2 flaring kits. Whatta PITA...

I actually got this installed on Sat with b00ya, guess it helps when you get the correct lines! I bought standard lines, but actually needed metric.
