Default spark plug wires & plugs for a 5.3 LS

Are fancy wires worth it? Taylor 8mm wires are $30, ac delco us about the same. Bigger msd or taylor wires are about double.

looks like ac delco iridium plugs were stock, i'm assuming stock is best there too?

any other suggestions?

always ran NGK tr6 plugs, I'm not sure what the iridium version are. Stock junk wires are fine. no need to upgrade unless you like to spend money

Never had a problem with Delco coil on plug wires . They're only like 8" long so not much can go wrong with them .

Delco iridium plugs will last a while . You'll probably see the center electrode point burn down to nothing before the plug stops firing .

Can I assume this is a round coil? Some list for round or square and some just have lengths....

The denso iridium plugs are $4.56 a piece. The oem wires are $45, seems alright.

I always run NGK TR6 in my stockish LS cars. As far as plug wires I have been running MSD on the Camaro but I don't see a problem with stock wires on a fairly stock car. I have stock delco wires on my TBSS and I have never burnt one on the headers or had any high RPM miss when racing it. Seems to be fine.

It'll be relatively stock for a while till I get bored. Then I might start making some piping.
