well long story short Jr put a hole in the nova's piston and scored the bore of his 350.

since ive had my 400 long enough that if it was my brat it'd almost be legal to drink. its time it got some use.

71 "511" 4 bolt 400 virgin bores from a 70kish 72 monte.

probably put his forged 350 crank and 6" alum rods in it for a nicely oversquare ~377

since im such a nice asshole he even got all my parts ive bought over the years...i was forged rods and crank away from a nice 10to1 400 with a sweet vintage MTS draw through carburated turbo setup for the corvette/Fbody

well at least its going to a good home...till he blows it up

:tear:

made by martin turbo systems, produced from 78-82ish iirc
the intake manifold is an upper/lower setup for drawing from an oem position spreadbore carb. the kit came with a sweet holly spreadbore made specifically for the kit
i took it off a 79 vette that had it since new. 6 psi on a 350.
cant find any info on the rayjay aerospace turbo but from the size id bet it is around 450ish, probably closer to 400 as you said since its a wet flow setup which is far from ideal

i had wanted to put it in my indyjeep. 400/th400/d20/d44&30

alas it will probably never happen...probably should find some ratrod guy that would give it a sweet home

15 axles, 21 heads (wtf?), 7 motors/blocks

4 sockets
~16 screwdrivers (stopped counting after the first dozen)
2 chisels
mustang cc plates for TR
1.5 hammers
1 dead family of mice (EARL?!? that yew buddy? wondered where ya went)
1000lb bbf 460 flywheel and clutch (really need to touch the truck one of these days)
1 good used moog tie rod end (sweeet the 04 needs one!)
4 misc bags of bolts and sensors...(how the hell one ended up under my dana 60?)
90 ln3 alternator (toss into alternator core pile)
hey i cant be expected to change completly overnight, layoff, alternator core charges suck, plenty of room on top of the jeep dana 44 under the bottom shelf...with all the other alternator cores
40+ used razor blades
6 pairs of pliers, one pair soaking in PB blaster
half a rubber bungie cord

tossed an old chainsaw, jeep bumper, misc brackets, wires, old carbs (kept my bnib 460 motorcraft holley and the MTS spreadbore holley)

scrappers on garbage day got tons of steel and scrap.

garage now at least 3000lbs lighter, i need to be wary of tornado's now
