Best intake for street sbc?

I'm debating on using the vic jr i have or selling it for a rpm performer air-gap. Suggestions please. Its going on a 350. But how about the converter, use stock or what stall? 3.73 gears with a 700r4 Trans. The motor has been using the vic jr but on a light drag rail with Trans brake.

What are you doing for heads/cam/compression? The gearing is adequate to use it in all probability, the thought of using stock stall with it and having it work well is probably a bit out there. S10 converter if you're on a big budget, even then I'd be looking to bring it up in the revs higher than that.

I think the air gaps require more hood clearance tho??
