Considering Portillos started out as a small hot dog stand, I'd vote for getting one of the best tasting Chicago hot dogs on the planet.

Start small and work your way up the menu, get a hotdog the first time. Their hotdogs have crack in them or something, i love them.

That's lunch. The guys I work with are astonished by how much food I can put down and some kind of hate me because I can eat like that all the time and not gain weight.

I am from the shitty part of the state...the middle. My buddy is getting married in chitown tomorrow. I am heading up tonight for the rehersal dinner at Portillo's in downers grove. Everything might be an option depending on how drunk I get. Thanks for the opinions gents! Looks like a hot dog and cake shake are a must. I might as well just keep eating till it is not possible any more. Sounds like they have some good shit.
