Two locations - Hoffman and St. Charles. For this review, I was at the St Chuck location.

Beef Shack

The menu is simple and to the point. Italian beef, hot dogs and one burger option. Oh, and salads if you have a vagina.

What I ate -

Regular size Cheezy Beef, fries with a side of shack sauce.

Was it good?

It was the best italian beef I have ever had. The bread is coated with butter on the inside. The beef was juicy and flavorful. The bread remained firm but not overly crunchy and had just enough "soggy" to be a perfect mixture.

The fries reminded me of Five Guys, which I love, so those were good too. The shack sauce tasted kind of like a McDonalds secret sauce and was nice to dip the sandwich in.

Pricing

I think I paid 12 bucks. A bit pricey but the quality of food was great and I left feeling very full. Like thanksgiving full. They offer a "mini" option on the sandwich but what am I, a bitch? No. No I am not.

How many Mook stars -
