I know some of you live in the area. Check out this new spot. I've been to it a couple of times and they have great food. Burritos are outstanding. The meat is really good.

Its on Route 72 & Industrial Drive in Gilberts, IL

No Joke, I'm picky when it comes to good mexican food.

Best Mexican food is in Elgin. El paraiso (the one off of lake street on villa) or el mesias. Not nicely decorated places but the food is the best.

Yeah, El Paraiso is the shit. I go to the one on Summit & Dundee, but the fuckers want $10.00 min for credit/debit

I've never been to that one. I've also been to the one on McLean and lake and I'll never go back. The people that work there are rude as fuck. The one on villa has very nice.staff surprisingly.

Gonna have to try Paraiso, its not far from my house. Not easy to find a good Mexican place in Elgin area that isn't shady as fuck.

Heh, never said they weren't shady! From what I have found, their steak is excellent. I love a simple steak taco with just sour cream, then drench it with lime. The chicken... Not so much. The stuffed pepper taco is decent.

For chicken go to Chapala (there is one on irving park road just west of barrington rd).

Order a mangonada. They are the bomb.
